The ear is the sense of the body and is important for survival. However, people unconsciously engage in activities that could harm their hearing senses. What are the factors that can make people deaf ?
Here are seven factors that can damage and make deaf ears:
1. Ear bud or ear phone on the music player (music player)
Ear bud made a louder voice, so for a long time can be deafening. In addition, the ear buds are also making changes in the auditory system. When people used to listen to the sound of the ear bud close and hard, then most likely it was hard to hear the voice at a normal level or gently.
2. Open car (openkap)
Openkap driving makes people have heard the 88-90 level Decibel (Db). For comparison, a normal conversation is around 50 Db, road traffic about 70 Db, lawn mower about 90 Db. Repeated exposure to sounds above 85 db is known to cause permanent hearing loss.
3. Drugs
One of the lesser-known side effect of some medications, such as pain medications, certain antibiotics and platinum-based chemotherapy drug, is hearing loss.
4. Cigarette
The blood vessels serving the cochlea, the organ of the inner ear. Nicotine, a vasoconstrictor which causes blood vessels to shrink slightly, can have a tremendous impact on the tiny capillaries that serve the ears.
5. Job
Field work as musicians, factory workers, construction workers and firefighters are some people at high risk for exposure to constant loud noise.
6. Diabetes
Diabetes can lead to decreased blood flow to the ear. Narrow or abnormal blood vessels caused by diabetes can prevent blood from reaching the cochlea, may also prevent toxic cleaning process. It has the potential to damage the delicate cells in the inner ear.
7. Sickle cell anemia
People with sickle cell anemia often experience fatigue and pain because red blood cells are sickle-shaped defects are not round. Whereas normal blood flow is important to reach the ears
