Existing Islam In America Before Columbus Far

Claims of Western history that claimed Columbus as the discoverer of the Americas should be questioned again. Many facts discovered recently, Muslims have contributed to long before the Spanish sailors arrived in the land of dreams.

This recognition is expressed by some historians. Fareed H. Numan in the American Muslim History A Chronological Observation said, "No doubt, Muslims have historically been an influence in the evolution of American society a few centuries before Christopher Columbus found it."

Historian Ivan Van Sertima in They Came Before Columbus prove the existence of contacts between African Muslims with the Native Americans.

To my great surprise, Van Sertima reveals that Columbus was amazed to residents of the Caribbean are Muslim.

"Columbus also know that the Muslims of the West Coast of Africa have lived first in the Caribbean, Central America, South and North," said Van Sertima.

According to him, Columbus had claimed to see a mosque while sailing through Gibara on the coast of Cuba.

Regarding the statement of Van Sertima, but can be read in the book referred to above, as well as in his other works, African Presence in Early America.
Dr. Barry Fell, archaeologist and linguist of Harvard University wrote in Saga America, the Islamic civilization has been built on the continent long before the arrival of Europeans.
