Borobudur Temple received Guinness World Records


Magelang - Borobudur certified by Guinness World Records as the largest Buddhist temple archaeological sites in the world.


Certificate was submitted to Guinness World Records Ltd representative, Lusia Sinigagliesi to the Director of Wildlife Tourism Temple (TWC) Borobudur Prambanan Ratu Boko (Limited), Purnomo Siswoprasetjo, in Hotel Manohara, temple complex. Borobudur, Magelang, Monday, October 15, 2012.

Lucy says that Borobudur was built between 750-842 AD by volume of 60 thousand cubic meters a magnificent temple that is unrivaled in size.

"Borobudur temple site not only recognized Guinness World Records, many books that mention it," he said.

With the inclusion of the Borobudur Temple in Guinness World Records is expected to be more and more guests from various countries who come to this temple.

In addition to Borobudur, Prambanan Ramayana also get the same charter as long colossal ballet lasted from 1961 until now.

He said from the perspective of the tourism industry, the charter can be used continuously in the promotion and marketing efforts domestically and internationally in a systematic way through a variety of tourism networks both domestically and abroad.

He said, with an award of this world should be followed to improve the quality of service to its guests.

"What has been noted that the world should not disappoint people who come here," he said.

Borobudur get into Guinness World Records, after PT Taman Wisata Candi (TWC) Borobudur Prambanan Ratu Boko (Limited) submit a proposal. In the first proposal in 2011 was rejected because of incomplete data and can get it this year after the survey.
